Our Mission

Students in Grades 1–3

Reading Literacy + STEM Education

Caribbean With Purpose is dedicated to creating transformative impact within Caribbean communities by supporting students in Grades 1–3 through reading literacy and STEM education—helping young learners build the skills, confidence, curiosity, and educational foundation needed to achieve their dreams of becoming successful students and future leaders.

Why Our Work Matters

Strong Foundations Create Future Possibilities.

Reading opens access to learning. Comprehension builds understanding. STEM encourages curiosity, problem-solving, experimentation, and discovery.

CWP brings together:

Students + Educators + Resources + Partnerships

around one focused mission:

Reading Literacy + STEM

For Students in Grades 1–3.

Our Approach

Not a Moment of Service. A Foundation for Learning.

Sustainable impact begins with listening. We work with educational leadership, schools, educators, and partners to align our programs with local priorities and create opportunities that can extend beyond a single visit.

Jamaica

Where Our Current Educational Model Is Taking Root.

Jamaica is the inaugural focus of CWP's educational model. In partnership with Jamaica's Ministry of Education, schools, educators, and educational leadership, we support locally informed opportunities to strengthen early-grade reading literacy and STEM.

Local Educational Leadership Matters.

  • Educator Expertise
  • Context
  • Partnership

Our Vision

Jamaica Now. The Caribbean Ahead.

We envision Caribbean communities where young learners have access to literacy, STEM experiences, educational resources, and supported educators that help build strong academic foundations.

Jamaica is the inaugural focus.

The Caribbean is the larger vision.

Educators

Educators Are Essential to the Mission.

CWP supports collaborative professional learning connected to early-grade literacy, STEM, student engagement, educational technology, and resource utilization.

Developed With Educators—Not Simply Delivered to Them.

Knowledge Flows in Both Directions.

Partnership Philosophy

We Don't Enter Communities With All the Answers.

We enter prepared to listen.

Local educators, educational leadership, higher education, community partners, and mission-aligned supporters bring different expertise to the work. CWP helps connect those strengths around a focused educational mission.

Responsible Global Engagement

Service Should Strengthen the Mission—Not Become the Mission.

Travel, service, study abroad, and volunteer participation have value when they responsibly strengthen educational priorities.

Education is the mission. Participation supports it.

From Jamaica to the Caribbean

Rooted in Partnership. Designed for Responsible Growth.

CWP's vision extends beyond Jamaica through responsible, mission-aligned relationships with educational leaders, schools, educators, institutions, and partners throughout the Caribbean.

Our Goal Is Not to Be Everywhere.

Our Goal Is to Matter Where We Serve.
